CARROLLTON, Ga. – After falling behind 1-0 to Florida Tech on Friday, the University of West Alabama volleyball team (15-7, 4-3 GSC) picked up three-straight wins for a 3-1 victory against the Panthers.
After losing the opening set in a tight 25-23 game, UWA picked up the pace through the final three to sweep the Panthers. The victory did not come easy for the Red and White as each set was won by less than five points.
In the second UWA took a 25-22 win before winning 26-24 in the third and finally 25-21 in the fourth.
The Tigers now play Rollins and Barry tomorrow before returning home to face Alabama-Huntsville Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
