                No. 14 West Alabama hosts its second 2013 GSC-TV Game of the Week when Delta State enters Tiger Stadium this Thursday night in its first TV appearance of the year.
                The rivals have battled in front of a GSC television audience two previous times with DSU holding a 2-0 lead thanks to home wins in 2006 (41-14) and 2010 (41-37).  The Statesmen are 13-6 in GSC-TV action dating back to 2005 and UWA is 11-8.
                Delta State owns the overall series lead at 34-21-3, but the Tigers are coming off a 37-7 win in Cleveland, MS a year ago which was just their second win in the last 10 matchups.  West Alabama is 12-10-2 against DSU at home, but the Statesmen have captured six of the last seven battles in Livingston.  UWA celebrated a 34-14 home triumph in the last matchup in Tiger Stadium.  Each team seeks to remain perfect in league play as DSU boasts a 2-0 record and UWA is 1-0.
