Box Score LIVINGSTON, Ala. – West Alabama men's soccer overcame rainy conditions and a two goal deficit to rally a 3-2 victory over Gulf South Conference foe Alabama-Huntsville on Friday.
"Our lads show tremendous character tonight," said UWA head men's soccer coach
Matthew Thorne.
"We got down early in horrible weather conditions but we still came out with the belief that we could win. We were able to get a goal late in the first half to allow us to regain our composure in the second half. We knew our chances were going to come, we missed a few, but we had the belief. We are very delighted to get a win against a tough UAH team who will surprise some people later on this year."

Thibault Charmey, who tallied two goals including the game winner in the 82'. Charmey now leads the Tigers in scoring with four goals on the season.
Isleifur Gudmundsson netted both UAH (2-1-1; 0-2) goals on set pieces in the first half.
