LIVINGSTON, Ala. – University of West Alabama women's soccer will face Auburn University Montgomery in its home opener on Thursday at 7 p.m. To welcome back the Tiger supporters the UWA athletic department will give away free hot dogs to the first 100 fans to the game as well as free t-shirts during the match.

A $100 gift certificate to Collins Communications Radio Shack of Demopolis will also be given away to a lucky fan in attendance.

Women's soccer kicks off the home season following a successful 2-1 start on the road. The Tigers have won its last two matches defeating Limestone College 4-0 and Queens University of Charlotte 2-1. AUM enters the match 2-3, having defeated SCAD Savannah and Thomas University in its last two matches.  
 
This year's squad features seven seniors that include 2013's GSC co-Player of the Year, Nicki Gears. Midfielder's Lydia Sutcliffe, Nicola Gibson , forward Natalie Perry and defender's Sam Cable, Michelle Mickissack and Amy Armistead will begin their final season in Tiger Stadium.

The home opener will also give fans their first look at eight new faces on the pitch for the UWA. Freshmen Paulien Vandekeybus and Taylor Brackin were each named as 2014 Top Newcomers to the GSC and lead a recruiting class of all freshmen.
