BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – West Alabama goalkeeper
Joshua Bramwell garnered Gulf South Conference Defender of the Week for the second time in three weeks on Tuesday. It is the third consecutive weekly honor for a UWA men's soccer player.

Bramwell added two more clean sheets to his resume against two GSC opponents giving him four in six starts as a Tiger. He totaled three saves with two in a 1-0 win over Union University and on one in a 4-0 victory over defending GSC regular season champions Christian Brothers.

The graduate student from Bolton, England has helped the Tigers to a 4-0 record start in league play, pinning them at the top of the conference standings tied with Alabama Huntsville as one of the two only unbeaten teams remaining in GSC play.

West Alabama men's soccer returns to action on Friday as it travels to Cleveland, Tenn. to take on Lee University. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.Â
