FLORENCE, Ala. - West Alabama volleyball fell 3-0 to American Volleyball Coaches Association 23rd-ranked North Alabama to open Gulf South Conference play at Flowers Hall on Tuesday.

The Tigers fall to 6-3 overall, while dropping to 0-1 in GSC action. The Lions stay perfect at 9-0 on the season, improving to 1-0 in league play.
