UWA Volleyball opponents named for GSC-SSC Crossover

HOOVER, Ala.— The West Alabama Tigers now know who they will face at the Gulf South Conference/Sunshine State Conference Crossover on Oct. 13-14 as seeding has been decided for the event.

UWA (13-6, 5-1) enters the event as the third seed in the GSC and will face Florida Southern, the second seeded team in the SSC, Oct. 13 at 4:45 p.m. Then on Oct 14, the Tigers will match up against seventh seeded Tampa at 2:30 and then against St. Leo, who enters as the three seed from the SSC, with that match scheduled to start at 7 p.m.

The Crossover serves as the mid-season point for UWA, who will close the season with 10 straight conference matches starting with a home match against Union on Oct. 16 in Pruitt Hall.
