UWA quarterback
Harry Satterwhite has been voted as one of the top 10 national finalists for the 2017 Harlon Hill Trophy, which signifies the top player in NCAA Division II football. Satterwhite is one of two GSC players to make the final 10. UWG RB Devontae Jackson is the other.

This marks UWA's first time on the playoffs since the 2012 season, also the last time the Tigers won an outright GSC championship.

This is just the third time in the history of the program that UWA has won 10 games. The 1975 team won 10 and the 1971 NAIA National Champions won 11.

DONTA CLIMBS TO SECOND IN HALF THE TIME
UWA receiver
Donta Armstrong now has 172 career receptions, tied for second on the UWA all-time list with Matt Carman (1990-93). Gerald Worsham (2008-11) holds that record with 241 receptions. It should be noted that Armstrong is finishing his second season, while Worsham and Carman both played four years for the Tigers.

Donta Armstrong has moved to fourth on the UWA career receptions list with 166. Gerald Worsham (08-11) leads the list with 241. Armstrong's 68 receptions and 670 yards currently leads the GSC. Armstrong needs three catches to move past Gerald Gales (2001-03) into third.

Brett Gilliland comes into the game tied for second with Jim King on the UWA all-time wins list with 29 (see chart to right). Gilliland needs three wins to become the all-time winningest coach in UWA football history.
