Salt Lake City, UTAH: The West Alabama volleyball team maintained an even record after splitting the first two matches of the Friday opener of the Westminster Women's Volleyball Invitational moving to 3-3 with a victory over the Malone Pioneers (C. OH) taking three of the four sets. Early Friday afternoon in the opening round of the Invitational.
 
The Tigers took the first three sets against the Pioneers , 25-20, 25-21, 25-23 and 27-25 and dropped the last one 8-25.
 
The Tigers opened the second match taking the first set from the Griffins(SLC) 26-24, but failed to top Westminster in the next three sets dropping the second match to the Westminster Griffins at Behnken Field House to keep their record at 3-3.
