ROAD WEARY
After a three-game homestead to open the season, West Alabama completes a three-game road swing with the game at Shorter. This is the third trip to Rome for UWA. The Tigers are 2-0 at Barron Stadium.
 
IN SEARCH OF POINTS
After averaging 32.3 points through the first three games of the season West Alabama is managing just 14.5 over its last two games, both on the road.
 
NO MORE DARKNESS
West Alabama played its final night game of the season last week at North Greenville. The latest start the rest of the year for UWA is a 4 p.m. CST kickoff against Florida Tech on Oct. 27 to accommodate UWA Homecoming festivities. The Tigers finish the year 2-2 in night games.
 
LAST TIME vs THE HAWKS
Harry Satterwhite threw four touchdown passes in three quarters of work as the Tigers demolished Shorter, 62-0.
West Alabama racked up 655 total yards while limiting Shorter to just 145. Shorter could manage just 1.1 yards on 32 rushing attempts.
 
HARRY FOURTH ON CHARTS
Tiger quarterback Harry Satterwhite is fourth on the all-time UWA passing yards list with 5,764, needing 926 yards to move past his head coach, Brett Gilliland, into third place.
 
HARD TO RUN AGAINST
West Alabama leads the GSC in rushing defense, allowing just 121 yards per game against five opponents.
 
ROGERS RUNNING UP RUSHING LIST
Senior running back Tyler Rogers has moved his way into the UWA all-time top 10 rushing list with 1,693 yards. His 5.62 yards per carry is second only to Javae Swindle, who averaged 7.36 yards per carry from 2012-15. His 24 rushing TDs is second all-time at UWA to Gary Johnston who scored 28 rushing TDS from 2009-13.
 
AN EYE TOWARD THE TOP
Should Tyler Rogers continue at his current pace through 11 games he would leave the program as the all-time leading rusher with just over 2,400 yards. Javae Swindle is the record holder with 2,229 yards from 2012 through 2015.
