LIVINGSTON, Ala. – The University of West Alabama women's basketball team opens the home portion of its 2018-19 season by entertaining Fort Valley State Tuesday at Pruitt Hall Gym. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m.

The Tigers have struggled shooting the basketball, converting just 36 percent from the floor (41-of-112), 24 percent from beyond the three-point arc (7-for-29) and 57 percent from the free throw line (30-of-52). UWA is outrebounding two opponents 40 to 33.

Fort Valley State has struggled even more, making just 29 percent from the field (33-of-112), 17 percent from three-point range (7-of-42) and 54 percent from the free throw line (29-of-54).
