West Alabama
The Tigers are 5-6 overall and 2-2 in Gulf South Conference play. The Tigers are 1-5 on the road.
 
Valdosta State
The Lady Blazers are 8-4 overall, 2-21 in GSC play. VSU has won two straight and is 6-1 at home.
 
Auburn-Montgomery
The Warhawks are 0-11 overall, 0-4 in GSC games. AUM is 0-4 at home this year and has lost 13 straight games dating back to Feb. 19 of last season.

Since AUM is on its transition year, Warhawk players are not eligible for GSC statistics rankings. If they were, Jordan Brewster would lead the league in total minutes play (405), minutes played per game (36.8), three-point field goals made (43) three-point field goals attempted (126). Brewster's 14.7 points per game would be sixth in the league and her .341 three-point field goal percentage would be ninth. Evelina Avleeva would be tied for 7thin the league with 8.0 rebounds per game.

Up to this point in the season West Alabama owns GSC single game highs in the following categories: 81 field goal attempted versus Oakwood (Nov. 26), 39 free throws attempted at Fort Valley State (Nov. 13), 18 steals versus Oakwood (Nov.26) and 31 turnovers at Eckerd (Nov. 10).
 
GSC Individual Game Highs
West Alabama players have recorded individual game highs among conference members. Tazsa Garrett-Hammett's 20 free throw attempts against Mississippi College on Dec. 1 and Elaine Field's seven steals against Oakwood on Nov. 26 top those lists.
 
The Coaches
Rusty Cram is 46-75 in his fifth season at West Alabama, 313-338 as a collegiate head coach, including stops at Georgia Southern and Belhaven. Sean Page is 0-11 in his first season at AUM, 255-175 in his 13thyear as a college head coach. Carley Kuhns is 31-13 in her second year as a head coach, both at Valdosta State.
 
Common Opponents
West Alabama and Valdosta State have both played and beaten Fort Valley State and Paine. UWA and AUM have no common opponents up to this point in the season.
