Bernal Earns All-Region Nod

NEW ORLEANS – Due to his second place finish at the 2019 NCAA Division II South Regional Cross Country Championship last weekend, Jakob Bernal has earned NCAA Division II All-Region Honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

Bernal is among 200 men from 80 different programs and 200 women from 95 different programs to earn the distinction of All-Region by virtue of a top-25 of the field at one of the eight regional sites this past weekend.

Including Bernal, several of the All-Region student-athletes will be competing at the 2019 NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships on November 23 in Sacramento, California.
