THE SERIES
This is the 27th meeting between UWA and MC with the series tied at 13-13. Monday will be the 60th meeting between DSU and West Alabama with Delta State holding a 52-7 edge in the series.
 
WEST ALABAMA
The Tigers enter the contest 3-0 on the season with all three wins coming in Pruitt Hall Gym. Last time out, UWA beat Shorter 73-48 in a non-conference meeting.
 
MISSISSIPPI COLLEGE
The Choctaws are 1-2 overall and enter Saturday's game coming off a 78-75 overtime loss to Southern Arkansas.
 
DELTA STATE
The Lady Statesmen are 4-0 coming into the weekend and will open Gulf South Conference play at Montevallo against the Falcons.
 
COACHES
Rusty Cram is 56-87 (.392) in his sixth season at West Alabama, 319-350 (.477) in his 25th season as a collegiate head coach. Paul Allen Duke is 374-241 in his 25th year as a head coach, all at Mississippi College. Craig Roden is 587-504 in his 33rd season as head coach entering the weekend.
