West Alabama

Brynne Lytle poured in 34 points to lead Christian Brothers to a 77-63 win over West Alabama Jan. 10 in Livingston. Tiger freshman Bria Dent recorded her first collegiate double-double, scoring 21 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. She converted 8-of-11 from the floor and complimented that with three assists and four steals.

Last Meeting With Union
Morgan Martin had a double-double and three Union players scored in double figures as the No. 8 Lady Bulldogs defeated West Alabama, 71-48, Jan. 12 in Livingston. Bria Dent scored 14 points and collected 13 rebounds for her second straight double-double, leading UWA in both categories. J'Nyiah Daniels was the only other West Alabama player in double figures with 10 points.

Freshman of the Week Again
UWA true freshman Bria Dent has earned Gulf South Conference women's basketball freshman of the week for the fourth time this season for her performance in two Tiger games last week. Dent averaged a double-double in a win over UAH and a loss to Lee. The Minor (Ala.) High School product averaged 13 points and 10 rebounds in the two games. Her double-double against Alabama Huntsville was her sixth in the last 10 games. She is averaging 9.7 points and 7.1 rebounds over 23 games this season.
