FOURTH IN TWO
West Alabama has featured a balanced effort on both sides of the court as the Tigers are both fourth in shooting percentage (.421) and fourth in defensive shooting percentage (.353). Only Union (first in both categories) and Lee (third in both categories) are as consistent as UWA.

FIRST TIME IN A LONG TIME
With a 13-3 overall record and 7-2 mark in the conference, Montevallo is on track to qualify for the GSC Women's Basketball Championship Tournament for the first time since the 2008-09 season. The Falcons were members of the Peach Belt Conference from 2009 to 2017, so could not qualify for the GSC Tournament. UM is fourth in the current league standings which would be the highest for the team since a 13-1 mark in the 1995-96 season.

DOUBLE-DOUBLE DUEL
Saturday's contest between UWA and UWF will feature two of the four players in the GSC averaging double-doubles in Bria Dent against Danielle Norquest. The Argos' Norquest leads all of NCAA Division II in the category with 14 while averaging 14.3 points and 12.2 rebounds while Dent is five behind her with nine total this year with an average of 14.4 points and 11.4 rebounds.

FEWEST TURNOVERS IN A GAME, BUT…
West Florida so far owns the mark for fewest turnover in a game with only two giveaways against Spring Hill College on Dec. 7 at home. Ironically, the Argos lead the GSC in turnovers with 318 total entering the weekend and 17.7 per game. With 14.8 assists per game, the team is last in turnover margin at -2.83.

THE OPPONENTS
Montevallo averages 74.6 points per game on offense and is allowing 61.6 points each time out. West Florida enters the weekend with an offensive average of 55.3 points and is allowing 62.9 points a night.
