WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – The West Alabama Volleyball team will make the 600-mile journey southeast this weekend to compete in the Gulf South Conference/Sunshine State Conference Crossover tournament, where UWA will face Saint Leo University, Flagler College, and Rollins College.

The matches this weekend will be shown live on BallerTV with a valid subscription, and the stats will be accessible on the SSC/GSC Crossover website.

The Tigers will play Saint Leo at 2:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon for their first tournament match. The following day on Saturday, UWA will take on Flagler at 10 a.m. ET before turning around and facing Rollins at 4:45 p.m. ET. The two-day South Region Volleyball Crossover, currently in its sixth year, will take place at the AdventHealth Fieldhouse and Conference Center (800) in Winter Haven, Fla.

West Alabama will look to bounce back from a 1-14 start to the 2021 season and gain some momentum as it continues conference play next week. The Tigers are 1-8 in the Gulf South Conference.
