LIVINGSTON, Ala. - West Alabama women's basketball team hosts Young Harris Tuesday, Dec. 7 in a non-conference matchup. Tip-off is set for 5 p.m. in Pruitt Hall Gymnasium.
The Tigers head into the game with a 6-2 overall record and are 1-1 in GSC play. UWA had its sixth consecutive win this season after defeating Mississippi College on December 2. Delta State snapped the Tigers' winning streak on December 4 in an overtime battle in Cleveland, Mississippi.
Bria Dent is leading UWA's offense. She has played and started in all eight games. The Birmingham, Alabama native is averaging 14.1 points per game and is shooting .529 from the field. She is also leading in rebounds, averaging 9.1 per game.
Junior guard Jala Williams leads the team in assists and has dished out 30, while sophomore guard Naelyn Rios sits right behind her with 24. Dent is also leading in steals. The junior guard has made 23 steals, while Williams follows with 18.
Young Harris brings a 6-0 overall record to Livingston. The Mountain Lions defeated Emory and Henry 61-46 on November 27 to get their sixth consecutive win this season.
Guard Carly Winters is leading the Mountain Lions with 17.0 points per game, while forward Mackenzie Johnson leads in rebounds, averaging 13.2 per game.

There will be no admission charge for the home game. Doors will open one hour before tip-off. Masks are not required in Pruitt Hall Gymnasium; however, fans are encouraged to social distance.
