Jackson, Tenn.- West Alabama men's soccer team battles Group A No. 2 Union in semifinals for the GSC Spring Championship Series.
The match is set for Saturday at Smith Memorial Soccer Complex in Jackson. Kickoff against the Bulldogs starts at 5 p.m.
West Alabama and Union have already met once this spring season on March 13. The Bulldogs defeated the Tigers, 3-2.
UWA is led by Vince Stans with three goals and for six points. He has 15 shots for 10 on target with two game winners.
Between the posts, Jules Dechert has played 526:04 minutes, allowing six goals for a 1.03 goals against average. He has nine saves and is 3-2-1 on the year with two shutouts.
The Bulldogs finished second in Group A by ending the regular season 3-1 both overall and in GSC play.
Union received a bye for the first round of the GSC Championship Series and defeated Lee in quarterfinals to advance them to semifinals.

The winner of Sunday's match will advance to the GSC Spring Championship match and will face the winner of Group A No. 1 Seed Mississippi College vs. Group A No. 3 Christian Brothers on April 3 at John Hunt Park in Huntsville at 4 p.m.
