ALL TIME MEETINGS
West Alabama and Christian Brothers have met on the court 29 times and CBU leads the series all-time 12-17. The Lady Bucs won last year's meeting, 3-2 (25-22, 25-18, 21-25, 15-25, 10-15).

WEST ALABAMA
West Alabama is 0-3 on the season and 0-1 in the Gulf South Conference after dropping the first GSC Group A match of the year to Mississippi College, 3-2 (26-28, 25-23, 25-23, 17-25, 8-15). Madison Fisher posted 14 kills while Ally Craig was right behind her with 12 kills. Desiree Blount passed 35 assists while MacKenzie Wells posted 26 digs to lead the back row.

CHRISTIAN BROTHERS
The Lady Bucs are off to an 0-1 start following a GSC Group A loss to Union, 3-0 (15-25, 17-25, 25-16). Meredith Hollinger and Madeline McGaha both had six kills to lead CBU while Alayna Maslinski passed 20 assists.

BLOUNT LIKES TO MOVE IT, MOVE IT
The primary setter for West Alabama, Desiree Blount has posted 113 assists at a rate of 8.07 assists per set. Her 36 assists (9.00 per set) in GSC play are third best in the conference.

GOING FISHER
Madison Fisher has posted double digit kills in two of the three matches so far this season for the Tigers. The sophomore from Ocala, Florida posted 10 kills against Montevallo on Feb. 24 and 14 kills earlier this week against Mississippi College.

WELLS DIGGING
MacKenzie Wells continues to lead the Tigers with 61 digs at a rate of 4.36 per set. In countable conference games, the junior transfer from Fruita, Colorado is fourth in digs (18) and digs per set (4.50).

UP NEXT
West Alabama returns for home for two straight matches in the friendly confines of Pruitt Hall Gymnasium. Mississippi University for Women comes to town March 10 at 6 p.m. while Union travels to Livingston, Alabama to face the Tigers March 13 at 2 p.m. Links to live stats and live video will be available for both matches on uwaathletics.com.
