Women’s Basketball Set to Host UAH on Monday

LIVINGSTON, Ala. - West Alabama women's basketball team is set to host a Gulf South Conference game against Alabama Huntsville on Monday inside Pruitt Hall Gymnasium. Tip-off is set for 5 p.m.

The Tigers enter the game with a 4-1 overall record and are 2-0 in GSC play. The Chargers bring a 1-4 record to Livingston and are 1-1 in the conference.

This is the 30th meeting between the two teams. UAH leads the series 17-12. In the latest matchup, the Tigers defeated the Chargers 56-48 in February 2022.

Bria Dent is leading the Tigers' offense, averaging 20 points per game and 12.6 rebounds per game. Maryanne Logsdon is averaging 13.6 points per game and 3.8 rebounds per game. Jala Williams is averaging 12.6 points per game, 7.4 assists per game, and 4.2 rebounds per game.

The Chargers' sophomore guard Jesse Jennings leads UAH's offense with 11.4 points per game and 3.4 rebounds per game.

General admission tickets will be $5 at the entrance or can be purchased ahead of time here. Children five and under will be admitted free.
