UWA Women's Tennis Blanks UWG 7-0

LIVINGSTON, Ala – The No. 6 ranked West Alabama women's tennis team defeated West Georgia on Saturday afternoon 7-0 at the Vaughan Tennis Complex on the campus of UWA. 
 
"Good win for our program today against UWG this afternoon. We need to continue working hard and get ready for the 2022 ITA Division II National Women's Team Indoor Championships," head tennis coach Jeff Beaman said. 
 
The Tigers improve to 3-1 overall and a perfect 3-0 Gulf South Conference record. The Wolves drop to 1-2 on the season and 0-2 in GSC play. 
 
UWA won every single match that was played against West Georgia and got the win 7-0. 

West Alabama women's tennis will be back on the courts Friday against West Florida in the first round of the 2022 ITA Division II National Women's Team Indoor Championships in Edmond, Okla. First serve is scheduled for 8 a.m.
