Tigers Battle Lee University Monday on the Road

LIVINGSTON, Ala. - West Alabama women's basketball team heads to Cleveland, Tenn. to battle Lee University in a Gulf South Conference matchup on Monday, Feb. 21. Tip-off is set for 5 p.m. at Paul Dana Walker Arena.

The Tigers head into the game with a 15-9 overall record and are 9-7 in GSC play. The Flames are 20-5 overall and 13-4 in the conference. 

This is the 15th matchup between West Alabama and Lee University. The Flames lead the series, 14-1. 

Tazsa Garrett-Hammett is leading the Tigers offense and ranked fifth in the GSC for scoring, averaging 16.9 points per game. The senior forward is also averaging 6.9 rebounds per game, ranking her 12th in the conference. 

Bria Dent is ranked third in the GSC for rebounds, averaging 9.8 rebounds per game. The junior guard is also averaging 14.4 points per game, ranking her 10th in the conference. 

Lee guard Haley Schubert is leading the Flames offense with 17.2 points per game and 4.0 rebounds per game.
