UWA Men's Tennis Sweeps MGCCC in Exhibition

LIVINGSTON, Ala. – West Alabama men's tennis got an exhibition win on Wednesday afternoon, 7-0, against Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College at the Vaughan Tennis Complex. 
 
"We played a good level junior college with players fighting at every spot," Graduate Assistant Coach Andrii Stratiienko said. "The men did a great job in singles and doubles by taking care of business from point one. This was good preparation for our upcoming match,"  
 
The Tigers are 3-4 overall and MGCCC drops to 14-2. 
 
Marcel Hornung, Nuutti Jokinen, Lucas Hammond, Patricio Nieto, Miguel Gamborino, and Jared Pierce all won in two sets as the Tigers swept the six singles matches. The Tigers also swept all three doubles matches to get the win.
