Volleyball Travels to UAH and Montevallo

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - West Alabama volleyball team has two back-to-back Gulf South Conference matches on the road against Alabama Huntsville and Montevallo. The Tigers head into the match with a 5-8 overall record and are 0-1 in GSC play. 

The Tigers take on UAH Friday evening at 6 p.m. inside Kelly Court At Spragins Hall. The Chargers are 4-7 overall. Alabama Huntsville leads the series 12-11.

Madison Fisher leads UWA attackers with 92 kills, averaging 2.14 kills a set. Ally Craig follows Fisher with 90 kills, averaging 2.25 a set. Maddie Van Dyke has dished out 164 assists this season.

Fisher also leads the team with 22 service aces, followed by MacKenzie Wells with 21. Wells leads the defense with 167 digs, averaging 4.18 digs a set.

UWA will then take on Montevallo on Saturday at 2 p.m. inside Trustmark Arena in Montevallo, Alabama. The Falcons lead the series 7-4.
