Men's Soccer to Play at Delta State and MC This Weekend

LIVINGSTON, Ala. – The University of West Alabama men's soccer team returns to action on Friday at Delta State and on Sunday at Mississippi College in two Gulf South Conference matches.
 
The Delta State match will be at Delta Field in Cleveland, Mississippi at 3 p.m. on Friday. Mississippi College will host the Tigers at Robert P. Longabaugh Field on Sunday at 3 p.m.
 
The Tigers bring in a 1-2-3 overall record and a 1-0-2 GSC record. Delta State is 2-2-3 and 1-1-1.
 
Harry Colville and Shane Pettit have scored one goal each for West Alabama. Colville has taken four shots-on-goal while Pettit has two.
 
Harry Deveney has been the Tiger's goalkeeper and has 16 saves. Deveney owns a save percentage of .842 which is best in the GSC.  Deveney has three shutouts this season which is tied for first in the conference.
 
Delta State's had four players score two goals this season. Arturo Riestra and Santi Rossi each have two assists.

MC brings in a 5-2 overall record and a 2-2 GSC record into their Friday night match against Alabama Huntsville.
 
Noah Wagner has scored six goals and has 16 shots-on-goal for the Choctaws. Olaf Conforti has two assists.
 
Cole Turner is the goalkeeper for MC and has 19 saves and has allowed seven goals.
