Three Tigers Posted Double Figures in 67-64 Loss to AUM

LIVINGSTON, Ala. - West Alabama women's basketball team took a 67-64 loss to Auburn Montgomery Wednesday evening inside Pruitt Hall Gymnasium. 
 
The Tigers dropped to 9-9 overall and are 6-8 in GSC play. The Warhawks improved to 6-12 and are now 5-9 in the conference.
 
Three Tigers posted double figures. Bria Dent led UWA with 23 points and seven rebounds. Zoe Watts posted 18 points and grabbed five rebounds. Maryanne Logsdon added 10 points. UWA shot 46.2 percent from the field.
 
The Tigers had the 35-33 lead at the half. The Warhawks combined for 34 points in the third and fourth quarters to claim the 67-64 win over UWA. The score was tied six times, and there were 14 lead changes. 
 
AUM shot 43.1 percent (25-of-58) from the floor, 40.9 percent (9-of-22) from beyond the arc, and 88.9 percent (8-of-9) from the free throw line. Allasha Dudley scored 25 points and dished out five assists for the Warhawks.
 
The Tigers hit the road and head to Huntsville, Alabama, on Saturday to face Alabama Huntsville. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall.
