Women’s Tennis Drops Exhibition Match at South Alabama

MOBILE, Ala. – West Alabama women's tennis team took a 5-2 loss to South Alabama this evening at Bruce David Lubel Memorial Tennis Courts in a exhibition match. 
 
"This was a lot closer match than the scores show," head Coach Jeff Beaman said. "We fought well to start the year off against a tough team. We have some things to work on and it does not get any easier against defending NAIA National Champions Georgia Gwinnett on Saturday."
 
Haina Franco and Ming Deewajee won their doubles court 6-4. Heden Ly and Hardija Vidnere won their court 6-4 to claim the doubles point for the Tigers.
