Drawdown Drawing Near

LIVINGSTON, Ala. - The annual party of the year, the UWA Football Drawdown, is approaching and is scheduled for Saturday, March 18, at 6:30 p.m. inside the Campora Athletic Complex at Tiger Stadium. 
 
Online tickets are available for $100. Should any tickets remain on the day of the event, they will be sold at the door while they last. A ticket is good for admission for two, as well as dinner and drinks, and one Drawdown entry is good for a chance to win $5,000.
 
"The Drawdown is an event you do not want to miss, a great time, plain and simple," UWA head football coach Brett Gilliland said. "A great party is planned. There will also be numerous door prizes, with the owner of the final Drawdown ticket winning $5,000."
 
You don't have to be present to win, and you can give your proxy to someone at the event to make decisions on your behalf. 
 
"There will also be a silent and a live auction loaded with great items," Gilliland said. "There are a limited number of tickets, so don't miss out."
 
Big Mike's Steakhouse will handle the catering, and there will be live music from RTR Pro Entertainment from Tuscaloosa.
 
In addition to Campora Development as the title sponsor, the Drawdown is also sponsored by ATI Physical Therapy, Batter Up Sports Grill, Burns And Burns, Big Mike's Steakhouse, Coors Light, Dream Lake Lodge, Holiday Cleaners, Mitchell Signs, Namon Collins Agency, Sumter Insurance, RTR Pro Entertainment, EWE Equipment, West Alabama Bank, and YD Home Medical Equipment and Supplies.
 
The Drawdown is the culmination of Super Tiger Saturday at West Alabama. The Campora Athletic Complex will have its grand opening at 10 a.m. with the ribbon cutting ceremony. Take this opportunity to tour the facility and enjoy the Annual Red-White Spring Football Game at 10:30 a.m. at Tiger Stadium. 
 
At halftime of the Annual Red-White game, we will be honoring the memory of former UWA receiver Christian Saulsberry.
 
Golfers can also play in the Patrick Ferris/Coach King Golf Tournament at Livingston Country Club that day. The tourney tees off at 1 p.m. Entry fee is $100 per person, with proceeds going towards an endowed scholarship fund for UWA Football. Contact Dee Outlaw for entry information at 205-499-0614.
