LIVINGSTON, AL------
Elijah Guyton kicked three field goals, including a 20 yarder on the very last play of the game, to lift the University of West Alabama to a 16-15 win over Miles College here Saturday night. It was the season opener for both teams.

Spencer Arceneaux led the Tigers on a 17 play, 72-yard drive over the last 4:37 of the game. UWA called a timeout with four seconds left to set up the game winner.
UWA took a 10-0 lead in the first quarter on a 27 -yard field goal by Guyton and a 12-yard pass from
Kason Lincke to
Khris Binion. The field goal was set by a blocked punt by
Tyler Smith.
Miles got on the board with 54 seconds to go in the half when Kamren Ivory caught Franck Pierre streaking down the left side line for a 41-yard touchdown pass. Roderick Smith missed the extra point, which proved to help the Tigers pull off the one-point win.
Smith did kick a 20 yard field goal to cut UWA's lead to 10-9 with 10:46 to go in the third but Guyton answered with a 42 yard field goal eight minutest later.
The Golden Bears took their only lead of the game, 15-13, after an Ivory 18-yard pass to Jaquel Fells. The extra point was blocked by UWA's
Cody Sigler.
Bry Webb led UWA with 70 yards on the ground. Lincke, the starting quarterback, led the Tigers in the air with 96 yards before his third quarter injury.
Binion led UWA with 74 yards receiving on three catches.
Ivory led Miles with 211 yards passing and 44 yards rushing.
The Tigers will host Tusculum College next Saturday night in Tiger Stadium. Kickoff is set for 6 pm.
