LIVINGSTON, Ala. – Saturday's football matchup between the University of West Alabama and Lincoln University has been canceled.
Lincoln University notified West Alabama on Friday morning that they would be unable to travel.
The Tigers and Oaklanders were originally scheduled to meet on October 4, but that contest was postponed because of excessive injuries within Lincoln's program.
Friday's announcement marks the second adjustment, ultimately resulting in the cancellation of the game.
All tickets purchased for Saturday's game against Lincoln will be honored for UWA's regular season finale on Saturday, November 15, when the Tigers host Northeastern State at Tiger Stadium.
Additionally, Military Appreciation Day will be moved to West Alabama's game against Northeastern State. Before the game, the Tigers will announce the recipient of the Charley Glenn Award.
