LIVINGSTON, Ala. - The University of West Alabama Men's Track and Field's Dedric Hicks picked up the second GSC Weekly award of the season on Wednesday as the junior was named the GSC Field Athlete of the Week.

Hicks repeats as the Field Athlete of the Week after finishing second in the Shot Put at the Berry Field Day Invitational with a throw of 15.21m. Hicks' mark of 15.21m ranks second in school history, making the dual sport athlete the holder of the top three marks in the Shot Put event in UWA history.

Hicks and the Tigers will get back to work this weekend when they travel to Atlanta, Georgia for the Georgia Tech Invitational.
