Tigers Fall to the Choctaws

CLINTON, Miss. — The University of West Alabama fell to Mississippi College in four sets Friday at A.E. Wood Coliseum, snapping their six-match win streak.

The Tigers showed resilience throughout the match, capturing the third set 25-22 behind strong kills from Gracie Pierscinski, Klára Bobánová, Cadence Goeden, and Gracie Huver. Setter Jana Petkovic ran the offense efficiently, while Cloe Bonvillain added a key service ace. West Alabama also made several impactful blocks and digs, keeping the match competitive despite Mississippi College's strong service game.

Though Mississippi College took the overall win 3-1, the Tigers remain 6-4 overall and 2-1 in Gulf South Conference play. West Alabama will take on the UAH Chargers in front of their home crowd at Pruitt Hall on Tuesday, September 30th, at 6 p.m.
