LIVINGSTON, Ala. - The University of West Alabama Women's Tennis team collected a clean 6-0 victory over Christian Brothers on Friday.
West Alabama (15-4, 3-2 GSC) handled their business against a Christian Brothers (0-10-1, 0-6 GSC) that is riddled with injuries.
The Tigers took the doubles point to begin. The duos of Shaira Rivera/Alexa Milliam and Jenaila Prulla/Valentina Mutilba both secured dominant victories on Lines One and Two to put UWA out in front.
In singles play, Milliam occupied Line One and defeated Valerie Neumann, (7-6, 7-6). Mutilba played on Lines Two and registered a (6-0, 6-1) win over Fernanda Garcia. Jian Ibrahim dominated her opponent on Line Three as she took home a (6-0, 6-0) victory while Prulla did the same on Line Four. Nanoka Kazama also defeated her opponent, (6-0, 6-0) to conclude the match.
West Alabama will be back in action on Saturday for a matchup against Valdosta State that's set for 2:00 p.m.
