Men’s and Women’s Tennis Both Clinch At Large Bids in NCAA Tournament

LIVINGSTON, Ala. - The University of West Alabama Men's and Women's Tennis programs secured an at-large bid in the NCAA Tournament on Monday.

UWA's Women's Team (19-5) is the No. 5 seed in the South Region Two. The Tigers will matchup with No. 4 Mississippi College on May 8 at 10:00 a.m. EST in the first round on the campus of host, Barry University in Miami, Florida. 

West Alabama's Men's Team (15-7) is No. 7 and will travel to Pensacola, Florida to play No. 2 and site host, West Florida on May 11 at 10:00 a.m. EST in the first round.

On the Women's side, Barry is the No. 1 seed followed by No. 2 Embry-Riddle, No. 3 West Florida, No. 4 Mississippi College, No. 6 Nova Southeastern, and No. 7 Tuskegee.

Barry will host the South Region One while Embry Riddle will host the South Region Two.

For the Men's bracket, Barry is also the No. 1 seed followed by No. 2 West Florida, No. 3 Rollins, No. 4 Saint Leo, No. 5 Lee, No. 6 Florida Southern, and No. 8 Tuskegee.

Barry will host the South Region One while West Florida will host the South Region Two.
