Prior to UWA: From Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, Iowa, Wehling comes to UWA after a stellar career in the junior college ranks. In two years she had a .280 hitting percentage to go along with an average of 2.88 kills and 3.00 digs per set. For her efforts, Wehling was named to the all-district team and all-tournament team at the Jefferson College Tournament. A native of Readlyn, Iowa, Wehling went to IHCC after a spectacular high school career. During her four years, she helped her team to the 2006 and 2007 Iowa State Championships. Among other honors, she earned first-team all-conference for three seasons and garnered a spot as an All-District Northeast performer in 2009.

Personal: Carly Jo Wehling was born on December, 14 1991 in Waterloo, Iowa...She is the daughter of Dave and Jolene Wehling and is majoring in exercise science.
