2013 (Junior): Named to the NCAA Division II First Team All-Academic Team with 4.00 GPA … One of three Tigers to earn All-Gulf South Conference First Team … Posted three goals and four assists in 18 starts and 20 appearances … Tallied the game winning goal in the teams opening match against Mississippi College (Sept. 6) where he posted his single game season high of two goals ... All four of his assists came in four separate matches ... Named to the 2013 GSC All-Academic Team as well as the 2013 GSC Academic Honor Roll.

2012 (Sophomore): Started 12 of 16 matches played … tied with Jonathon McLouth as the team’s third leading scorer with five goals … lead the team with four game winning goals against Oakwood (8/31/12), Concordia (9/2/12), Union (9/16/12) and Shorter (10/26/12) … led the team with 21 shots on goal.

Pre UWA: Graduated from Enterprise High School in 2011…Played for Coach Ed Howard…Was a three-time state champion at Enterprise High School and was a state finalist in his senior season…Attended Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tenn., upon graduation, and played there one season… Highlights of career include a goal against Georgia Southern of the Atlantic Sun Conference.

Personal: Evan Beutler was born on Nov. 26, 1992…He is the son of Rolf and Nathalie Beutler and has one brother (Tommy)…Major is psychology.
