2010: Played and started in 11 games for the Red and White … Recorded 97 tackles including 62 unassisted tackles, eight tackles for a loss for 41 yards, and two sacks for a loss of 25 yards … Totaled six or more tackles in every game and had four games of 11 or more tackles … Amassed 13 tackles including a sack against Henderson State … Made 12 tackles against North Alabama … Honored on the GSC Academic Honor Roll List … Inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma, the National College Athlete Honor Society.

Played one season (2009) in Scooba after sitting out the 2008
campaign... Honors student at EMCC and a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honorary organization... Despite mostly playing as a reserve middle linebacker behind Alvin Ellis during the season, Poe ranked fifth on the team with 84 total tackles (53 solos & 31 assists) on the year, including four tackles for loss (5 yards)... Also had two pass interceptions and a pair of pass breakups in 2009... In place of the suspended Alvin Ellis, Poe was credited with 26 total tackles (21 solos & 5 assists) during EMCC's epic 75-71 victory over Mississippi Gulf Coast in this year's MACJC state championship game.
