2009 (Freshman): Pitched in 17 games with nine starts on the season … Totaled 53.1 innings on the mound while allowing 33 runs on 55 hits with a 4.72 ERA … Finished the season 2-1 with a save … Pitched a career-long seven innings against Talladega College on Apr. 11 while scattering three runs with six strikeouts in the win … The six strikeouts marked a career-high as he tied the feat on Apr. 22 at Stillman … Recorded 35 strikeouts on the season in comparison to 32 walks … Finished fifth on the team in strikeouts.
