Dalton Parks is in his second season as a graduate assistant baseball coach at the University of West Alabama.
Parks came to West Alabama from the baseball staff of Clarendon College, a Division I junior college in Texas. He also spend two full seasons as an assistant coach at Hunter High School in Utah where he was an all-region choice as a prep player after hitting .346 as a senior.
A four-year starter as a collegiate player, Parks played two years at the University of Minnesota-Crookston and two years at Brown Mackie College, a junior college in Kansas.
Parks hit .125 as a senior at Minnesota-Crookston with two doubles and three runs batted in after batting .197 with eight doubles, a triple and 14 RBI as a junior. He made just three errors in 110 total chances as a junior.
A native of West Valley City, Utah, Parks hit .262 with one home run, 16 RBI's, 24 runs scored and six stolen bases as a sophomore at Brown Mackie while earning all-region honors. He batted .232 with nine runs scored and four RBI's as a juco freshman.
Parks graduated from Minnesota-Crookston in 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree in sports management and with an Associate’s Degree in Health and Fitness from Brown Mackie in 2014.
He will serve as head coach for the Muhlenberg Stallions of the summer OVC League in 2021.
