Devin Bice

Devin Bice

Devin Bice joins the UWA football staff for the 2022 season and will be in charge of the offensive line. Bice brings with him nearly a decade of coaching experience and experience as a student-athlete.

Bice spent the past year as the offensive line/run game coordinator at Centre College in Kentucky. He was named to the FootballScoop’s 2022 Minority Watch List/Rising Stars. Helped lead a team that led the conference in sacks allowed and were second in rushing offense (over 200 yards per game).

The 2020 season saw Bice with North Carolina State University serving as the defensive line graduate assistant coach. He assisted with all areas of the defensive line and was part of a defense that ranked 15th nationally in tackles for loss and 35th nationally in team sacks.

Prior to breaking into the collegiate coaching world, Bice had a few opportunities at the prep level. He began his career in 2014 coaching the offensive and special teams coordinator at Holmes County High. From there he went to Nease High becoming the offensive line and head JV coach for the 2017-19 seasons. His final stop in prep coaching was in 2019 at Creekside High serving at the tight ends and head JV coach.

Bice was a three-year letterwinner during his playing days at The Citadel starting at left tackle and tight end. He graduated in the top 25 percent of his class while earning a Bachelor of Science in health, exercise and sport science. Bice went on to earn a Master of Science in sports management from Jacksonville University. Bice added a Graduate Certificate in sport and entertainment venue management from North Carolina State University.
