Devin Myers is beginning his fifth season as a member of the Tiger coaching staff, his second as a full-time assistant coach after taking over the offensive line's duties prior to the 2018 season.

After finishing his UWA playing career, Myers worked two years as a graduate assistant working with tight ends and offensive linemen. Myers worked as a student assistant before being named a graduate assistant.

In his brief time as offensive line coach, Myers has already coached all-conference, all-region, and All-America players Call Dyer and Brandon Anderson

He was a two-year starter at offensive guard for the Tigers and helped lead the team to a 17-7 record, an NCAA Playoff appearance, and back-to-back Gulf South Conference titles (2012 and 2013). The UWA offense scored 75 touchdowns and averaged 539.1 yards per game, with Myers in the trenches.

Myers started for two seasons at Foothill (Calif.) Community College at offensive guard before transferring to West Alabama. He was a first-team All-Nor-Cal conference player, a 2012 Rivals/JC Gridiron #10 recruit, and a two-year team captain.

Myers earned his Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies at UWA in 2016.
