Trevor Stigers

Trevor Stigers enters his first season with the West Alabama football program in 2024. 

Prior to his arrival in Livingston, Stigers served as an associate head coach and defensive coordinator at Southwest Mississippi Community College for the last five seasons. Coaching the defensive line, he also served as an assistant with strength and conditioning. 

During the 2018 season, he served as a defensive line coach at Hinds Community College (Miss.). 

Other stops include interning with the Philadelphia Eagles's training camp in the summer of 2018. He also was a volunteer coach at Jackson State University in 2015 and 2016. 

A native of Crawford, Mississippi, Stigers was a four-year member of the Mississippi State football program under head coaches Sylvester Croom (2008) and Dan Mullen (2009-11). After redshirting his freshman year, he played in 26 career games in three seasons as a defensive lineman with 32 total tackles, including 5.5 stops for a loss. 

Also in his career, he was a part of team wins in the Gator (2010) and TaxSlayer (2011) Bowls. 

In 2011, playing in 11 games for the Bulldogs, he made 19 tackles and added 4.5 for a loss. 

In his high school playing career, Stigers was the 51st-ranked defensive end in the country by Scout.com. He also participated in the Mississippi-Alabama All-Star football game. 

Stigers graduated from Mississippi State in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.
