Overview: Played in 19 games across two seasons with Dodge City CC… Rushed for 822 yards, averaging 73.9 yards per game… rushed for 60+ yards in five of seven games... three total touchdowns... Named Second Team All-Conference in 2025.

High School: Prepped at Spain Park High School under head coach Tim Vakakes. Shanks developed his skills as a student-athlete with the Jaguars before continuing his football career at the collegiate level.

Collegiate Career: Shanks continued his education and football career at Dodge City Community College, earning an Associate Degree in General Studies in 2024.
