Overview: Starting Linebacker for Holmes CC in 2025… Played in all nine games in 2025… Recorded 81 total tackles, averaging 9.0 tackles per game… Recorded two fumble recoveries... earning an associate degree prior to joining West Alabama.

High School: Prepped at Clarksdale High School in Clarksdale, Miss., under head coach Curtis Kemp. During his prep career, Gilmore helped lead Clarksdale to the 2023 Class 5A State Championship runner-up finish and four consecutive district championships from 2020-23.

Athletic Honors: Two-time All-State selection, two-time All-Conference honoree, and one-time All-Conference Defensive MVP … Named team MVP during his senior season … Finished among the top five in tackles in the MACCC.
