Jahmal Lane

Jahmal Lane joined the University of West Alabama Men’s Basketball coaching staff right after his playing career ended in 2017.

Lane played in 42 games and started in 31 during his two seasons as a Tiger after tranferring from Western Oklahoma State College.

The native of Planfield, New Jersey averaged 12.0 points and 4.8 rebounds with career totals of 502 and 201 in the respective categories. He also finished his UWA career 45.8 percent from the floor and 73.8 percent from the free throw line.

He turned in a 21-point performance, hitting a season-best 8-of-9 from the field (.889) to help the Tigers to an 87-74 win over LeMoyne-Owen on Nov. 19, 2015.

Lane graduated with a degree in Phyiscal Eduacation in May 2018.
