West Alabama graduate, Justin Allison is entering his first year as the Assistant Coach for The University of West Alabama Men's Basketball team.
Allison was a four-year player for the Division II Tigers, leading UWA to two Gulf South Regular Season Championships and one GSC Tournament Championship in 2023. He averaged 13.5 points per game and led his team in made three-pointers with 71 in the 2023 season. Allison's efforts earned him two GSC All-Tournament Team awards and a Most Outstanding Player award in the 2023 tournament.
Allison returns to UWA after a stint at Huntingdon College. While he was with the Hawks, Huntingdon College increased their win total from two wins to 12 in on season, while also going from seventh in the conference in points per game to third.
