2014-2015 (Freshman): Made three starts in 34 appearances ... Totaled 92 points (2.7 per game), 33 rebounds and 39 assists ... Finished the season shooting 31 percent from the field (19-for-61), 28 percent from the 3-point line (8-for-28) and 75 percent from the free-throw line (46-for-61) ... Posted double-digit scoring numbers in three games, hitting season high of 13 points twice, last against Lee University on Jan. 5, 2015.

High School: A Class 1A-4A All-Metro selection at Brewbaker Technology Magnet High School ... Led the Rams to a 21-6 record and an appearance in the south regionals in 2012, averaging 17.4 points per game … Led the team in assists (6.8 per game) and steals (2.4 per game).

Personal: Khalil Carter was born on August 7 in Alexandria, La. … Son of Julian and Breonica Carter … Majoring in sports management.
 
Coach Sharpe: “I was extremely happy to have Khalil with us at West Alabama. He will have an opportunity to play close to home and his family will be able to see him play. He was recruited by many Division I programs and received offers from several of them. We expect him to step in immediately and fight for significant minutes at the point guard position… Khalil has an opportunity to be the best freshman in the league next season.”
