Biography

2014 (Junior): Made 17 starts in 18 appearances ... Helped the UWA defense to limiting opponents to 21 goals during the regular season, while UWA totaled 40 ... Finished 2-of-6 shots on-goal. 

2013 (Sophomore): Made 19 starts in 20 appearances … Totaled one goal against Belhaven (March 21) … Had one assist against Union (Oct. 20) … Totaled four shots with three on-goal ... Named to the 2013 GSC Academic Honor Roll with a GPA of 3.02.

2012 (Freshman): One of three UWA players to start in all 19 matches … totaled five assists … best performance came with two assists against Talladega on Sept. 7.

Pre UWA: Comes to UWA by way of Oak Mountain High School in Birmingham, Ala., where he was a two-time all-county and all-metro performer…Adkins also was named to the all-state team and was the Shelby County Player of the Year in 2011…His team won the 2011 Alabama State Championship and was a 2012 state runner-up.

Personal: Christian McGuire Adkins was born on Aug. 20, 1993 in Birmingham, Ala…He is the son of Ernie and Michelle Adkins and has one brother (Tyler) and one sister (Haylee)…Adkins is undecided on his major.
