Hailing from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Harrison Corolis joined the West Alabama women’s basketball staff as the Graduate Assistant Coach in August 2018.
Prior to his arrival at the University of West Alabama, Corolis served as the assistant men’s basketball coach at Fanshawe College, a junior college in London, Ontario, Canada, about an hour and a half from Detroit, Michigan. In this capacity he coached the post players and ran individual skill development programs for all athletes as well as handled all video operations for the program.
In addition to his time as an assistant coach at Fanshawe College, Corolis spent three seasons at St. Francis Xavier University, in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, as the assistant video coordinator for the men’s basketball program.
Corolis has also spent time as a skill development coach at the Canadian Basketball Academy in Toronto, Ontario, where he coached both the varsity and junior varsity teams. During the summers of his undergraduate years, Corolis coached at Olympia Sports Camp in Huntsville, Ontario.
Corolis graduated from St. Francis Xavier University in 2015, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He will be pursuing a Master’s Degree in Education focusing on Student Affairs in Higher Education while at West Alabama.
